PrimarkAbout a week or so ago, I decided to pop into Primark. I have a love/hate relationship with this shop because some days they have some gorgeous stuff, and the next its all a load of tack. Anyway, this week it was LOVE, they had some lovely stuff. I think that when stores are heading into AW, its all snuggly jumpers and chunky stuff, which i personally prefer to summer clothes - there's nothing like throwing on a big warm jumper, they're so easy to wear! The two items I wanted to show though, despite spending £80 (oops) are:

This gorgeous blouse which was only £12. I am in love with the back of it....although I'm not too sure about what to wear underneath....

And this other blouse which was only £10 I think, so easy to wear with either some blue skinny jeans or even black leggings. I also love the pattern around the collar, so cute!

I did buy some other items also, but I'll save those for another day.
Thank you for reading
I've always liked the products from The Body Shop, but never really looked at the wider range. The party I went to was based on make-up, and there were some really lovely products to try and buy, I could have spent loads. In the end I didn't really buy much make-up, but what I did I will blog about another time. The products I want to talk about are two Tea Tree products from their skincare range...

First is the 'Tea Tree Face Mask' which was £9.00. Now
personally for a face mask I do think this is pretty expensive, BUT I
think its worth it. It says on the pot to leave on for 10-15 minutes but
I always tend to leave masks on for a bit longer. When applied to the skin, it instantly gives a cooling, soothing
feeling which is what it says on the pot. It's not too thick, and
doesn't dry up and make your face feel tight which I'm glad about. If
you don't like the tea tree scent, then stay away as it is quite a
strong and overpowering smell. It claims to help remove impurities and
absorb excess oil, and to be honest it did leave my skin feeling lovely
and soft, with no sign of blemishes. Overall, I do really like this face
mask, I prefer the texture to other face masks aswell because its quite
lightweight, definitely recommend!

Second is the 'Tea Tree Blackhead Exfoliating Wash' which was £5.50. I do suffer terribly from blackheads, and after using 'Clean & Clear Blackhead Clearing Daily Scrub' which I must say made no difference whatsoever to my skin, I needed a new blackhead scrub, so decided to buy this one. For £5.50 it is a good little product and even after one use my skin felt a lot cleaner. It contains crushed apricot seeds, but one negative is, I don't think it has enough in it, and I love products which have that gritty texture and it really scrubs your skin and unclogs pores. Obviously I haven't been using it long enough yet to see any proper long term effects in terms of blackheads but I am fairly positive about this product. Also, it smells lush!

Its my first ever Essie nail polish, and so far so good, i'm impressed. It applies nicely, although I dropped some on my leggings and some on the sofa, OOPS.
Its quite a matte finish on the nails, which personally I love. What are your favourite Essie nail polishes?
Topshop Knitted Fluro Mesh Sweat - Even though the weather can't make up its mind whether it wants to be warm or cold, I really love jumpers and I think they are perfect for those days where the sun is out but it's still chilly.
2. Real Techniques Core Collection Brushes - I desperately need some new make-up brushes, and these seem to becoming quite popular at the moment, so I need to try them!
3. New Look Studded Ballerina Shoes - I have these in the nude colour already, but I think I need the black ones too.
4. Viva Glam Nicki by MAC cosmetics - I'm in LOVE with this colour, may have to treat myself.
5. Hervana Blush by Benefit - gorgeous gorgeous blusher, I've seen this on a few girls and it looks lovely.
6. Oh Lola by Marc Jacobs - I haven't even smelt this, but the bottle is so cute.
7. Cream Puff by Collection 2000 - I love the first and second colours (in the picture above)becca-charlotte xhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00622597026179261762noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-968887357219469559.post-86275231272311516492012-03-03T23:20:00.001+00:002012-03-03T23:20:36.803+00:00OPI - Bubble bath.I bought this spontaneously the other day, as my first ever OPI polish. There's soo many to choose from, so I think I'll be getting a few more soon.
To be honest, this wasn't as great as I thought it was going to be, as the swatches displayed it as a very opaque pastel pink, but on my nails it's almost the type of pink used for French manicures. Don't get me wrong I do like it, but it does need a good four costs or more to actually look opaque.
This month I paid for two Glossyboxes by accident, ooops! I've only opened one so far though and was planning on sending the other back and getting my money back, but I'm pretty tempted to open it now it's here.. but then I may have the dilemma that it is the same one as I've already got, hmmm decisions decisions......Anyway, first impressions of this box? Not amazing to be honest.

I've already tried the 'Duwop' venom lip-gloss, it's something I have to do haha. I actually like this! I love the tingling feeling it gives, and I like the colour of it too, also it smells nice which is always a plus!
The 'BM Beauty' pure mineral eyeshadow doesn't amaze me, as I have a very similar colour already, plus the packaging is a bit plain for me.
The 'Como Shambhala' body lotion smells really good but I have sooo many samples of body lotion, so this is just another one in the pile to try out for me I'm afraid.
The 'DR Bronner' magic liquid soap has intrigued me because it says on the bottle 18-in-1 different uses, so I'd love to find out what they are.
Finally, the 'Paul Mitchell' Round Trip hair product is something I'm looking forward to trying, It's purpose is to add bounce and detail to curls and waves. Too bad my hair isn't naturally curly...
Shall I open my other box??
So I'd be saving £35.00, which to me is pretty amazing. As I was working yesterday, I wouldn't have been able to go and get it, so I asked my boyfriend to, and he did which I was very thankful for, especially as he walked round town with a big pink bag :)
You get 10 full-sized products, so you are in reality paying £2.50 per item. I haven't used all of the items yet, as I only got it yesterday, but the ones in which I have tried, I'll tell you a bit about them.

The first one, 'Pulp Fiction' is a body scrub, which I did use last night. It has a gritty texture which I love, as I needed a new exfoliator anyway. It smells so nice, just like most of the Soap & Glory stuff. You only need a little bit, and it goes a long way. My skin did feel lovely and soft after using it. The 'face soap' is not techniqually a soap, but I really do love this. Its purpose is to 'brighten your complex'. Again, you only need a little bit. Its quite a thick texture also with little gritty bits in. My face felt so clean afterwards, I will defintely be using this often!

'Hand Food' and 'Heel Genius' are both products I got last Christmas, so I am familiar with them already. My hands are so so dry as I suffer from bad Eczema, especially in the winter, so this hand cream is a saviour as it's so moisturising, the smell is gorgeous too. Only downside I would say it's not very absobent and takes a while to soak in. The foot cream is also very moisturising, but I only use it every so often so the effect isn't lasting for me, also I'm not keen on the smell.

'Calm One, Calm All' is a 'Stress Battling Softening Bubble Bath', now tbh, it didn't really help me de-stress, but it did smell yummy and made me smell all nice haha. I used the 'Clean On Me' today, which has a built in moisturiser, which is good cause I do have really dry skin. Again, it smells nice and it is a nice body wash to use especially for special occasions, where you want to smell nice and feel nice. nice nice nice!

Haven't used either of these yet, but I have used 'Sexy Mother Pucker' lipgloss in the past, I absolutley love the feel of it, although it is a bit sticky. I do like the colour, as I think it suits my skintone, the staying power isn't excellent though, unless things have changed over a year or so! The body spray smells lovely, not sure if I will get a lot of use out of it though, but we will see.

Last two items now. First off, 'The Righteous Butter' which is a body moisturiser containing shea butter and aloe vera. You apply it to damp skin, which I've never done, and it does have a nice effect and softens your skin, you only need to use a little bit too! The make-up wipes, I was a bit reluctant to use at first, because i literally stick to simple facial wipes, as I've had ones in the past which make my skin all red and puffy. I did use one last night in the end, and it takes off your make-up really well, it didn't sting or have any other effect which I was happy about, once again, probably getting sick of me saying it, but they smell goood :)

So thats it, I am really happy I got this even though I'd never tried most of the products before. Such a good bargain too and it was a nice little Christmas present for myself - like i can afford it, but hey! Thanks for reading :) xxxxxxxbecca-charlotte xhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00622597026179261762noreply@blogger.com1
